 2009 honda accord 4 cylinder, 30k miles, first owner passing a large truck on highway 80, california, east bound, near green valley road exit, approaching fairfield on september 28 at 2:30pm. accelerator got stuck and car continued to accelerate to dangers speeds in excess of 70mph. i had to press on the brake petal as hard as i could to maintain control. then i shifted the car into neutral. the engine revved very high. i made sure my foot was only on the brake petal. with in about 10 seconds the car stopped revving, but now my brake rotor are warped. i made sure my floor mat was out of the way. i have contacted the dealer. they have never heard of this problem. i had this same problem happen with my honda oddessey.
