Leading up to the failure, it was necessary ziggle the steering wheel in order to turn the key and start the car. on july 4, 2010 the ignition totally seized - stranding the driver. it was necessary to tow the car to a dealership. honda advised the car was just out of warrenty. the following parts were replaced at a cost of $1026.00: ignition switch, dummy sidewinder and the lock assembly / steering. in a letter to honda we stated that the part hadn't been reasonably durable and that the warrenty didn't apply. the car ignition failed long before it should have. honda agreed to pay $653.00 towards repairs in response to our letter.

I own a 2008 honda civic. july of 2009 i experience a problem with the driver door. the door would not close. when i tried closing the door i noticed it was not aligned. i was at work, so i went inside for assistance. my co-worker could not close my door as well. we went back inside to get more assistance and when we came back outside, a car parked next to me, decided to leave and bent my car door toward the engine. i have had it fixed in the mean time through my insurance. last week we were out and all the doors jammed. so now we have to press the unlock key fob at the same time we open the door. when we put the key inside the key hole it does not unlock the car. *tr
