My sun visor cracked at the hinge over a year ago and since that time it would repeatedly fall in my face blocking my line of sight. many times it even hit me in the head. honda wouldn't pay to replace or fix it. i finally removed it since it obstructed my view of the road so now i have the sun in my eyes. i am not apt to buy the same part again as i've seen hundreds of postings online about honda civic owners who have experienced the same problem. there needs to be a recall of this visor and honda needs to replace these parts in all civics with functionable parts.

I've noticed several complaints about broken sun visors. my 08 civic hybrid got a crack in the driver side visor. prior to that, it was always very hard to swing the visor to the side or to clip it back in. maybe something was too tight, and that's why it eventually cracked. my dealership replaced it because the car was still under warranty. however, if it had happened a couple months later they wouldn't have. sounds like there's a defect in the visors and honda needs to replace them even if the car is out of warranty.

Front driver window came out of plastic window channel (seal) during closing and would not seal properly. temporary fix: could manually push/pull window into channel during closing, but watch your fingers! occurred at approximately 6000km. i believe root cause was faulty switch which didn't provide signal to window motor to stop if window closed. after window closed, if button activated, could hear motor still pushing window glass up. eventually, this would cause window glass to damage channel (seal) dealer replaced window regulator, seal and glass under warranty. *tr

The windshield wipers got crossed up while in use which ended up breaking one of the blades. i turned the wiprs off > uncrossed the blades > turned the wipers back on > and the wipers would only cycle about half way up the windo before returning to the rest position. a week later i turned the wipers on to drive in the rain and the drivers side wiper will not move while the passanger side does. the passenger blade is below the drivers side blade, so the passanger blade hits the non-moving drivers side blade which actually knocked the passanger side blade off the arm.
