| Tl- the contact owns a 1998 honda crv. the contact stated that she was backing out of the driveway and when she put the vehicle in drive it accelerated without driver intent. the owner had her foot on the brake during the failure. the vehicle went through a stop sign and crashed into a mailbox and a tree. it knocked the tree down and then the acceleration stopped. the air bags exploded. the owner suffered injuries to include cuts in the mouth and bruises. an ambulance responded as well as the police. police report # 100601322 was filed. the vehicle was towed to the dealer. honda has not been notified and the vehicle has not been inspected at this time. the approximately mileage is 135,000. rd | |||
