| Tl-the contact owns a 2006 honda cr-v. the contact stated that when the brake was applied the abs system locked and caused the vehicle stabilizer system to fail. the vehicle was taken to the dealer advised that the vsa module failed. the vehicle was not repaired. the failure and the current mileage was 110,000. li | |||

| Steering locked up and driver lost ability to steer. vehicle moved to left. driver tried to brake but brakes failed. witnesses described vehicle lurching to left and seeing brake lights come on but vehicle did not slow down. car hit a street lamp and bounced to the right. side airbags deployed. front left wheel fell off the car. driver sustained a mild concussion. note that honda has issued a recall for some 2006 cr-v's related to suspension which could cause loss of steering (honda recall 12-020). this vehicle was not included in the recall but the incident seems very similar to the recall issue. | |||
