| 3:30am - as i was sleeping, i heard an explosion. as i looked out my bedroom window, i could tell something was on fire in driveway. i ran outside and cr-v was completely engulfed in flames. called 911, fire dept arrived and put fire out. chester county fire marshall arrived @4:30am, nothing suspicious noted. car and contents were a total loss. driveway was ruined, but fortunately no other structures were involved. *tr | |||

| Tl-the contact own a 2006 honda crv. equipped with a jack manufactured by (metal ufactur) the jack failed while the contact rotated the vehicle tires. the jack twisted and collapsed causing the vehicle to fall onto the supporting blocks the contact had under the vehicle. the dealer replaced the vehicle jack. the approximate failure and current mileage was 113,000. li | |||

| During heavy rains, water will seep in under the carpets from somewhere forward and lower than the windshield. the water comes from under the dashboard, usually on the passenger side. it does not drip in, but rather soaks up from under the carpet. i personally have seen the water grow up to 2 inches in depth above the carpets. after some internet searching, similar problems were found in earlier models of cr-v. the issues found stemmed from faulty/old factory seals on items like the firewall and a/c vents. please contact with more questions if this information is unclear or could be improved. | |||
