My son got in the vehicle to take his wife to pick up her car and the seatbelt on the drivers side was locked. we tried everything we could think of and wasn't able to unlock it. local body shop couldn't get it unlocked 1/28/2013 and said it would have to be replaced. just wondering if there has been a recall on this particular vehicle, if so we weren't notified. 100,000 plus miles vehicle at shop at present time. *tr

Tl*the contact owns a 2007 honda cr-v. while driving approximately 40 mph, the antilock brake system engaged when the brake pedal was depressed. the contact rear ended another vehicle. as a result, the bumper completely detached from the front end of the vehicle and the radiator was damaged. the air bags failed to deploy. the contact sustained major injuries because the seat belt locked and would not unlatch. the passenger in the other vehicle was uninjured. a police report was filed and the vehicle was towed to the dealer. prior to the failure, the contact heard a grinding sound while driving in reverse, but there was no failure at that time. the current and failure mileages were 14,000.

Tl*the contact owns a 2007 honda cr-v. the rear middle seat belt hooks to the seat. as a result, the contact's son wrapped the seat belt around his neck and could not unlock the release button without the key. her son began choking and turned red and blue in the face. her husband helped unlock the release button with the key. the owner's manual was of no assistance and the contact feels that this was a major safety hazard. she has not yet notified honda. the failure and current mileages were 6,000.
