This complaint is not limited to my current vehicle. i am 5' 3 tall. the part of the car's body that separates the windshield from the side windows in all vehicles i have driven creates a huge obstruction to my view. i almost struck a bicyclist coming from the left... he and the entire bike were blocked from my vision. when taking a left turn, the entire street can be obscured. this problem was even more severe in a 1995 jeep cherokee i owned. also, why aren't mirrors that would eliminate the blind spot on the driver side mandatory?

Windshield wipers do not clear the windshield in cold/snowy conditions. windshield wipers rest below the heated area of the windshield which allows them to become frozen and unable to contour to the windshield. edges of the car are taller than the windshield which traps ice on the side edges as well and also damages the wiper blades, preventing them from working. issue has been present since purchasing vehicle. dealer unable to fix problem. the issue causes visibility problems at a time when visibility is already bad (snow storm), the addition of a failure of the wipers to clear the window adds to the road hazard. would like to know if sae j903a covers cold weather testing and if honda submitted paperwork to show that the wiper system meets the specification.

Tl-the contact owns a 2008 honda crv. the contact stated the fluid was not coming through the hose for the windshield wipers. the vehicle was taken to the dealer who stated the equipment failed because the attachment to the body of the engine had snapped out due to a collision with the vehicle. the dealer replaced the whole unit of the windshield wipers and washer at a cost of $200 to him. the manufacturer was contacted who stated they will not cover the parts under warranty and is in agreement with the dealer results. the failure mileage were 24,000...mw

Dear sir: i recently purchased a brand new 2008 honda crv and am largely happy with it. however, on several occasions i have come dangerously close to having an accident when changing lanes due to what i consider to be an exceptionally large blind spot that is not covered by any of the mirrors. even turning my head around is not always adequate, and is itself dangerous when driving at highway speeds. *tr
