| Incredibly fast wear on one left rear brake pads and grinding sound at all speeds. visually checked all the brakes - the pads on all 3 are normal with little wear, but the left rear is totally worn. this happened within a few weeks. also the rotors are worn uneven with pitted surface. this is not the due to a usage, but due to some mechanical problem. the problem is severe - i can not drive a vehicle!!! *tr | |||

| 2010 honda cr-v. the driver experienced a vehicle malfunction and the vehicle suddenly stalled. the driver was then rear ended by another vehicle that was following too closely. *bf the consumer stated he activated the cruise control and then felt it disengage as he slowed down. however, approximately 30 seconds after the disengagement, the brakes seized completely and caused the vehicle to come to an abrupt stop. | Tl- the contact owns a 2010 honda cr-v. while driving approximately 25 mph and applying pressure to the brake. the brake would fall to the floor and then slide forward. the contact stated it became difficult to brake and the vehicle would slide forward. the vehicle was taken to the dealer where the technician stated the brake fluid was contaminated and all the hydraulic pads needed to be replaced. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was contacted and they stated the contact was responsible for the costs of repairs. the vehicle was not repaired. the approximate failure mileage was 12,500. ds | |||
