| Complete tire failure. while travelling at highway speed noticed tire vibration. within 10 seconds of hearing the noise the tire completely failed-- the tire was in 3 peices: the two sidewalls were hanging on the rim and the entire tread area was separated from them (the tread area remained in one solid piece). the tires were original equipment on the car, which is only7 months old. the mileage on them was 10000. *ak | |||

| I have a new honda crv with 1,600 miles and 3 days ago while driving on the highway my bridgestone tire blew apart, sending the tire across 3 lanes of highway. a deputy sheriff was driving ,and he stated he had never had a blowout like that and felt it was probably a defective tire.*ak | |||

| The steering wheel started shaking while driving 55 mph. the consumer pulled to side of road and stopped, he checked all the tires and the noticed left rear tire had blown out and was shredded. the steel belt inside of tire was wrapped around the tire. the vehicle was towed to schwabs, and all tires were replaced.*ak *ts *jb | |||
