| Problem: sudden acceleration due to defective throttle body. the idle rpms are excessive upon startup and lead to sudden acceleration during breaking to a stop. background: malfunction lamp light was constantly turning on and off. took the car to a honda dealership and they only found the error code for the o2 sensor. later took it to a local mechanic to fix the o2 sensor and they found a defective throttle body (error code p0122). there are several forums which address this exact issue on 2002-2004 honda crv. | |||
