| My complaint is with the rear differential. i have had to replace the fluid several times since i have had it, due to low fluid. i now have a case halve in the rear differentail is leaking. a very costly expense. i have researched this problem online and it seems that a majority of cr-v owners are having the same problem. | |||

| I own 2006 honda crv. my complaint is about rear differential fluid. the owner's manual states that rear differential fluid needs to be changed every 60000-90000 miles. first time had to replace it at 19000 miles because of the noise when the wheels were turned right/left at low speeds. the same problem resurfaced at 53000 miles again. the dealership pushes a $250 dollar procedure (rear differential change 2 times and burnishing the clutches) to fix the problem as the vehicle is not under the warranty anymore. the dealer also recommends changing the rear differential every 15000 miles. honda misled its customers with its low maintannace schedule. | |||
