| Tl* the contact owns a 2011 honda crv. the contact stated that the vehicle was started and the air bag warning light was illuminated and remained illuminated. the vehicle was taken to the dealer where he was advised that the electrical line for the heated seats had illegal ally been sliced into the air bag electrical line. the contact stated that the vehicle was purchased without heated seats and the dealer was to install the heated seats. the dealer used a sub contractor to install the heated seat and repair the wire. the failure mileage was 9 and the current mileage was 1,000. | |||

| I bought a new 2011 honda cr v and have a serious safety issue. the engine maintained its speed or accelerated on four separate occasions when i applied the brake and tried to stop. the worst incident occured when i tried to come to a stop at a red light with cars in front of me. i applied brake and car stopped but engine raced. i had to apply very strong pressure to brake to hold car in place. engine was racing and car was pulling forward. i shifted to neutral, engine continued to race and then i heard a loud knocking sound come from engine like a washing machine makes when it is out of balance. i was very scared. i turned engne off and then at green light turned engine on and it was ok. this happened four separate times when the car had just over 200 miles on it, just over 400 miles, 723 miles, and 819 miles. i did not have my foot on both gas and brake, the mats are the honda mats that come with car and are fastened to the floor and were not on the gas. this really happend, very scary. reported to honda and took car in twice. honda said there were no codes and the brakes looked ok. they said to call american honda which i did. i reported it as a serious safety issue. honda said someone would get in touch with me the next day. its been a week and no one has contacted me. i have owned the car for 40 days and driven it less than 850 miles and this has hppened four times and been in the shop twice. honda says they cannot reproduce and that i should just let them know when it happens again. they have not tested anything with the idle or the throttle sticking are not concerned with my safety. | |||

| On the the 2011 honda odyssey ex-l (your drop down menu does not give the odyssey as an option..but it is the odyssey), the driver's side mirror has a distortion on the outer edge of the mirror which causes the driver to experience dizziness when looking at vehicles at distance. this has been reported by numerous drivers on the web but neither honda nor criswell honda in rockville maryland will do anything about the mirror until a honda bulletin is released which will probably be after an accident. | |||

| The front seat head restraints in the 2011 honda cr-v are tilted too far forward, resulting in severe neck strain followed by headaches. while honda suggests positioning the seat tilted back, this does not alleviate the problem and results in a safety issue since my wife then has difficulty seeing over the hood and grasping the steering wheel. a re-design of the head restraint is required so it does not force the head forward and down. | |||

| I have two new vehicles that are in need of new tires soon: vehicle #1: 2010 honda cr-v with 16k miles vehicle #2: 2010 toyota tacoma truck with 14k miles. both vehicles will need tires within 2-3k miles. this is wrong. when i buy the same brand tire new at the tire store they will sell me that same tire on each vehicle noted above with a warranty of up to 40k plus miles. why is it when you buy a new car or truck the tires are junk and don | |||
