	Tl-the contact owns a 2010 honda fury motorcycle. the contact stated that after refueling, the vehicle failed to start. the engine eventually restarted. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer twice and the starter was replaced each time. the manufacturer was not notified of the problem. the approximate failure mileage was 4,000. kmj

	When pressing the starter button the engine gives a half crank then nothing. release and push again and maybe the starter will crank and start the motor. i replaced the battery with new and when the motor cranks and starts, the trip and clock reset every time the bike is shut down and restarted. many owners have the same problem and the replacement starter part number and size is different than original. honda upgraded the starter based on past claims but never did a recall. new starter is $300+ if you don't purchase the extended warranty and basic expires. http://www.furyforums.com/forum/fury-tech-performance-chat/10731-starter-rebuilt.html this link proves my point that other owners have this issue. honda please recall this part!
