 Recall repair on gold wing could not be completed because dealer did not have a welder.*mr the consumer stated he contacted the dealer for an update and was told they had found a welder who did iron and steal welding but had not seen the details of the honda welding requirements. the consumer did not feel that rewelding of the frame was a correct fix for the welding. the consumer stated the weld would only cover 180 degrees or 50% of the affected area.  Problems with frame breakage on honda 1800 motorcycle. *mr there was a large amount of frame breakage due to faulty welding in the production. the frame could have been replaced or the consumer could receive another motorcycle. *scc a recall had been issued for the problem. *jb
