| My srs light came on and i took it to the dealer and was told the problem was srs control unit failure and the repair cost would be approximately $700. i took it to another shop to get another opionion and was told the same thing. this man was previously a shop foreman at a honda dealer and said this was a problem with my model and advised me to call honda cust. service for a possible reduction in my repair amount. the customer service rep. said they would pay 25% of the repair costs, but they technically didn't have to pay anything. when i asked to speak with someone in management i was told that they were too busy. i see from your web site that other honda odyssey owners have complained about this problem and was wondering if there is anything else i could do to get honda to pay for the repair of this safety related problem. | |||

| My 1995 honda odyssey had been in the shop three times for srs warning light. on the first 2 visit, which were under warranty the srs system was reset and i was told no problem. the last time which was 3 months after the warranty had expired, i was told that the car required $800 dollars of repairs. i have contacted the dealer and honda . i feel that this system was defective all along and honda should at least share the cost of repairs. i contacting you in hopes that you can jump start the dialog between myself and honda. thank-you | |||

| Srs light stays on--bags never deployed-dealer wants $800+ to replace module. this is second complaint i've made on this subject. reading about others on the www.odyclub.com website prompted this action. i'm afraid it will either deploy unexpectedly or not deploy when needed. if this was a seatbelt problem or child restraints honda would fix it--they should fix the srs module also. *ak | |||
