| Side sliding door handle broke off when opening door. pin that sheared off and that door pivots on appears to be made of plastic. these doors normally are powered open. due to problem with switch door would only open manually. when opening manually these doors take considerably more force to open than a normal sliding door. with my little experience opening manually i apparently pulled too hard! this seems to me to be a flaw in the design of the handle. | |||

| While changing lanes to pass a stopped box van on the right, i nicked the rear corner of the box van with the driver's side mirror housing. although the housing folded forward as it is designed to do, the mirror popped out, fell to the roadway and broke. this left me without a driver's side mirror, posing an obvious safety hazard. the repair, which i am performing myself, is not yet complete due to parts delays. note: the date of the incident and mileage are approximate. *ak | |||

| Sliding door window has shattered and is completely cracked. dealership has not examined vehicle to determine a reason for shattering. . *note: approximately in june 1999, rear windshield shattered and was replaced. reason given for that defect was excessive heat. *ak vehicle was eventually examined by local dealership and was repaired under warranty.*jb | |||

| Left sliding door not locking, unlocking, or opening properly. dealer tried to fix twice now and still broken. door locks and unlocks itself while in motion. it pops, clicks, and buzzes at random. right sliding door opens while in motion. dealer tried to fix once and still broken. a/c makes tremendous thunking noise-clutch engaging improperly. dealer tried to fix twice-told mecould not duplicate still broken. left & right front windows both had bad parts. left still waiting on parts to be put in. seatbelt in middle, left rear locked so tightly while van in motion that i was trapped. it would not release even while van was not braking, turning, etc. doors are main safety concern and dealer not able to correct problems and zone office #6 unwilling to return my phone calls regarding this important matter. | |||
