| Tl - the contact owns a 2006 honda odyssey. the contact stated that her vehicle driver side heat did not work resulting on her not being able to clean the windshield making it hard to see. the vehicle was taken to the dealer and they were unable to diagnosed the failure. the manufacturer was contacted and they asked to get a second opinion. the other dealer was unable to find the failure as well. the vehicle was not repair. the failure and current mileage was 80,444. pm | |||

| While traveling at highway speed, the passenger side glass in my 2006 honda odyssey exploded/shattered, resulting in cuts to two passengers, one seated in the front passenger seat and one seated directly behind the first passenger. in addition, the shattered glass caused damage to the leather interior. honda was contacted but did not investigate and rejected the claim. *nm | |||

| In november 2005 i purchased a new 2006 honda odyssey exl. within a few days the driver's side power window (it is worth mentioning that i have not had any problem with the other power windows) often times did not close when i tried to close it. the worst times are when it rains or the temperature is cold. while under warranty i took the vehicle to another honda dealer to have the window repaired. they attempted the repairs but were unable to fix the power window. i tried many jiffy lube and liquid wrench to lubricate the window per the dealer's recommendation but the result has been only temporary and the window continues to stay down when it should be closing. *tr | |||

| Dt*: the contact stated that the shortness of the steering column creates fatigue while driving 65 mph for prolonged hours on normal road conditions. the vehicle's doors cannot open without pressing the unlock button first which creates a delay in case of emergency conditions. the vehicle's doors will not lock if one of the doors are not closed. the contact expressed that the rear windshield wiper only works intermittently which creates a rear vision problem. | |||

| With my wife driving our small children in our 2006 honda odyssey, the windshield washer system failed to operate and clean the windshield. the temperatures were around +25 degrees f and the fluid level was full with fluid rated to -20 degrees f. it appears the system freezes up, even when the van engine temp was fully heated to operating temperature. this is certainly a safety issue as her sight outside the van was impaired by the dirty windshield. she could not see outside the windshield to drive the van in a safe manner. i have recently spoken to other 2006 odyssey owners who have the same problem. *nm | |||
