I have a 2005 honda vtx 1300c and while decelerating, usually between 45 and 30 miles per hour, the handle bars and front end violently start to wobble from side to side. if i do not apply steady pressure on the handle bars, i could have an accident. this is extremely dangerous. i balanced and installed new tires, checked wheel bearings and tire pressure.

I have a 2005 honda vtx 1300r motorcycle. since new i have had a wobble at speeds below 45 mph in the handlebars. dealer did not see it as a problem. after research on our vtx website i have found the many others have the same problem. my problem has not been repaired as of yet. it was suggested that i replace some type of bearing in the yoke and that would fix the problem. problem does not occur as long as both hands are on the handle bars. i do not have information on injuries at this time. *tr

I own a 2005 honda vtx 1300r motorcycle. when i decelerate from 50mph the handlebars start to pulsate and wobble as i pass through 45 mph. i also experience wobble when i make turns. my motorcycle only has 7000 miles on it. i'm on my 2nd set of tires. i've done some research and have found that there are other honda vtx 1300 owners that are experiencing the same thing. *tr

I have a front end wobble in my motorcycle the same problem that many, many owners have, this is on a 2005 honda vtx 2005. the dealer replaced the front tire and trued the front wheel after only 600 miles, i have 2000 miles on the bike and still have a wobble, not nearly as bad as before the new tire though... *nm

When bike is ridden at speeds of around 50 mph, the handlebars/front-end will wobble between around 55 and 45 mph. front wheel replacement has not helped, dealer claims nothing is wrong. many others who have the same bike have similar complaints, with similar results (dealer claims nothing is wrong). this event is easily reproduced on command. *nm

Front wheel will wobble between speed of 40-50 mph. have spoken with the honda service department and they tell me that i did not have enough air in the tire. i aired up the tire to the psi that i was instructed, and it did not correct the problem. *nm

Front end wobble on 05 honda vtx 1300s. the wobble begins while deceling and starts around 45 and stops around 35 miles per hour. this has been attributed to the steering head bearings. *nm

While going through a turn at approximately 45 mph, the front of the motorcycle began violently shaking which required rapid slowing to get the bike under control. this almost resulted in loss of control of the motorcycle and a rear end collision. *nm

When decelerating, at about 40 miles an hour the front end starts to shake/wobble and continues until reaching about 30 mph. as this is a motorcycle, it is not a very good feeling to have the front wheel/handlebars shake when in motion and could lead at an accident. i have been in contact with other owners of this make/model motorcycle and they also have advised of similar wobbling. *jb
