| Tl-the contact owns a 2008 honda xr650l motorcycle. while riding 60 mph the counter shaft which is the drive for the rear tires stripped. the vehicle was taken to the dealer who stated they have to check with the manufacturer before replacing the shaft because it was out of warranty. the manufacturer stated they will not repair it under warranty. he would have to pay the cost. the motorcycle was not repaired. the failure mileage was 18,000...mw | |||
