Vehicle had a bent rim that came directly from the manufacturer. consumer took the vehicle to the dealer, and was informed that because the rim was bent it was causing the tire to go flat. consumer left the vehicle at the dealer for two weeks, and was informed that the manufacturer was not taking responsibility for the defect. while driving with this defect vehicle jerked to the right, knocking down a mailbox. while the vehicle was at the body shop the tire had to be inflated each time the vehicle had to be moved. owner was also told that the rim was bowed by the manufacturer which could not be repaired. it would have to be replaced. *ak
