I had dropped my daughter off at school then went to the gas station and i smelled something like it was burning and i thought it was out side. when i came out of the gas station there was smoke rolling out of my hummer . i had jumped in and moved the vehicle away from the pumps so they would not blow up and hurt the patrons around us. the fire dept came and so did the police. they told me that the blow had started from behind the glove compartment and was on fire. *tr

On the summer of 2007, i was driving on the freeway and i had to pullover to the side because my hummer h3 started overheated. i did the proper procedure of refilling coolant to my car, but within 4 hours it leaked. i was driving for 30 min. with windows down. not using the air conditioner. i took it to the dealership because i was still under warranty and supposedly fixed the problem. it is april 2008 and the other day my car shut down on me again because my car overheated. i checked all cooling placed and i refilled them with dex-cool coolant. the next morning i checked the coolant tanks and they were empty. *tr

This is the first winter this vehicle has seen. on three separate occasions the windshield wipers have either not worked or stopped midcycle. the first incident was at home. i have autostart so i started my card to warm the vehicle and thaw the windshield. approx. two hours later i was able to turn on my wipers. the same thing happened on a second occasion. on december 31,2008 during a storm that caused white out conditions, my wipers stopped less than 5 minutes into my drive home. the design of the wipers causes the arm that moves the wiper itself to freeze solid and cannot be unfrozen until you get the vehicle into a warm environment, unless you're fortunate enough to have an ice pick or boiling water with you! the vehicle has a serious design problem with the wipers and needs to be addressed before someone is seriously injured or killed. *tr |
