| Engine stalls, intermittently when taking foot off accelerator. twice while driving about 45 mph, several times under 25 mph while slowing down for a turn or stop sign. loses power steering and power brakes. normally car acts fine but about once a month (more frequently now) car will have a bad day and stalls several times in one day, (and then acts fine for a few days/weeks before having another bad day). car starts right back up after stopping vehicle. very much a safety issue!!! took car to dealer about 4 times before they were able to duplicate it. no service codes. they said it was the only car in the united states reporting this issue (until it also happened (4 times)while they were in the vehicle during my last visit to the dealer. they change crank shaft sensor but 4 days later, (5/27/12) car stalled 5 times in a 15 min. period. | |||

| On friday i cranked up vehicle leaving work . put in driven vehicel made sound as if transmission jerking. continued to drive and vehicle acted fine. while driving on a wet three lane high way at 50mph the car shut off on me. i managed to pull over with my emergency falshers put in park and restarted the car. drove straight to the dealership who kept it over night. as ususal they could not duplicate the problem and said they could not find anything wrong. i have had this vehicle for one year. since then i have had it back to the dealerhsip on several occations. over the year the vehicle has shut of on me while going down the road 9 different time. also when trying to accelerate onto road the car would not go like the gas was not getting through . i have had a several near misses of accidents and every time i have taken it to the hyundai dealership they tell me that they can not duplicate the problem and nothing is wrong. i carry my grandbaby with me alot and getting scared for our lives in this car. i have begged the dealership to please try other actions to fined the problem has fell on deaf ears because they can not duplicate the problem. i have tried to get trade this vehicle but owe to much to trade in. please look into this situation if your could. i beleive i have received a lemon... thank you | |||

| Brakes did not work while i was trying to slow down. after got an accident i checked my car in tow yield they said there is a problem with a front tire and they also said it is 99% manufacturer fault. the brake should not be broken with any damage however it broken already. i drove only a year. i dont know what to do. | |||

| While idling at a red light, car stalled out. started right back up. then got onto parkway and traveled about 5 minutes on the parkway and slowed a bit to exit onto the ramp, then accelerated to about 40-45 to continue and stalled while driving at that speed. we slowed and pulled over, stopped the car and restarted the car without a problem. it was a very hot day and we had the radio and air conditioning on. we took the car into hyundai to check and they couldn't find what caused the problem. they said when the radio and a/c are being used, turn off the eco setting off. (a co-worker mentioned that it sounds as if there wasn't enough fuel being injected to keep the car going.) | |||

| This is a new car and the incidents have been present from the beginning. on numerous occasions at slow speed or when moving from being stopped, or in stop and go traffic, the car will not respond when the gas pedal is depressed. the sensation is that the car has stalled. after a moment, or several seconds, the car will surge forward, sometimes causing the tires to screech. i immediately apply the brakes to bring the car under control and the car will proceed without further evidence of a problem. in stop and go traffic this event may occur with successive stops. the event may occur 6-8 times during a local trip, or it may be several days without an event. i am unable to predict it occurring and unable to cause it to happen. i consider the car to be unsafe both because it may result in a collision with a car in front of me but also it has left me stranded in the middle of an intersection, or road, not knowing when my car will move. on several occasions the driver behind me has blown his horn as i wait for my car to move. the car has been returned to the dealer and driven by service personnel and a regional representative of the manufacturer on four separate occasions without incident. i am told there is no record of this event having occurred with this model car and there was no suggested solution. there was a comment that it may be a transmission problem. their conclusion is that there is nothing to be done if they cannot produce the event. | |||
