| Car continues to overheat. this is the fourth time it has happened; sometime the problem can not be duplicated and i am sent on my way even though it has happen before. the cylinder heads, water pump, thermostat, sensor and many others are only a few of the things that have been replaced on this problem. the car shuts-off without warning, and drives like a desiel engine (rough), you almost have to floor it to make the car stop and the dealer says it is normal; even though i hit another car going about 5mph because the car jerked foward and smashed my hood (i hit a ford:excrussion so he had no damage) and the transmission does not shift correctly. sure the dealer ship tries to fix the problem but there have been times i have been out of my car for a long as 7 to 8 weeks and many times there don't even know whats wrong. i have tried to contact rick case the dearlership owner and i never reiceve a call or email. *ak | |||

| Consumer received a recall notice for the brakes. consumer applied the brakes and the pedal went to the floor. also, a knocking noise was heard coming from driver side wheel. consumer was able to drive the vehicle to dealer for analysis. consumer stated that the vehicle was fine until the recall repairs were performed. *ak | |||

| When applying brakes in an emergency stopping situation vehicle skidded an additional 30 feet before coming to a complete stop. on may 1, vehicle was involved in a rear end crash. vehicle was traded for another vehicle. please provide any further information. *ak | |||

| Consumer had a problem with brakes since date of vehicle purchase. consumer noticed a pronounced forward motion of vehicle when braking, only not when vehicle was slowing down automatically. no accidents or injuries. has had dealer look at vehicle several times. *ak | |||

| Brakes would pulsate when applied. took to dealership 6 times for problem. rotors needed to be resurfaced. then, took to different dealerships for repairs. currently, has steady banging. problem not repaired. representative sent, but nothing solved. had contacted mr. grato and manufacturer . informed not repairing brakes for seventh time. *ak the vehicle had brake and transmission leaking problems. the consumer considered the vehicle lemon, and declined to take it to the dealer for repair. *yh | |||

| Thumping noise in rr wheel at 104 miles - rear shoes binding on backing plates- remove and resurrface both rear shoes and backing plates. again at 1587 miles rear shoes binding on backing plates - again r/r both shoes and lube backing plates. ~9000 miles thumping again, service could not hear. at 10,251 miles returned with same thumping complaint - service determined rear drums out of round, replaced rear drums. thumping noise returns at 42,450 miles, resurfaced front brake rotors & resurfaced rear brake drums, cleaned and adjusted rear brakes. shoes and pads all still fine with plenty of life left.*ak | |||
