| Tl- the contact owns a 2009 hyundai genesis. the contact stated that while driving 50 mph, he crashed into another vehicle that was stopped on an on ramp and the air bags failed to deploy. the contact sustained a concussion and a police report was filed. the vehicle was able to be driven away from the crash scene. the vehicle was taken to a dealer who was unable to diagnose the failure. the vehicle was taken to another dealer for a second opinion who stated that after inspecting the vehicle and looking at a picture of the crash he determined that the damages on the vehicle were not significant enough to cause the air bags to deploy. the vehicle was repaired. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure who did not offer any assistance. the failure mileage was 38,000. pmb | |||

| Tl- the contact owns a 2009 hyundai genesis. the contact stated that while driving at 50 mph, he crashed into another vehicle that was stopped on an on ramp. the air bags did not deploy. the contact stated that he was injured and sustained a concussion and a police report was filed. the vehicle was able to be driven away from the crash scene. the vehicle was taken to a dealer for inspection and they stated that the computer read that there was a crash but had no data about the air bag. the contact took the vehicle to another dealer for a second diagnosis but they stated that the previous dealer erased the data. the second dealer also stated that after he looked at a picture of the crash that the damage was not significant enough to cause the air bags to deploy. the vehicle was repaired. the manufacturer was notified and they stated that they would not replace the air bag. the failure mileage was 38,000. ap | |||
