| I get acceleration problem in my hayundai santa fe 2009., whenever my car gets slow it see car it going by it self even thou my foot in my the break. it also gives my feeling that car is stops and go somehing like car is jerking off. i even see lot of other people having the same problem. in march 201, my wife got in to the accident because of the acceleration problem. but, we did not realzie that at that time. and, my wife told me that that was the problem but we did not belive it at that time. now, we are facing more problems. dealers are not doing anything. they just told me tht they dont see the problems. can you guys really do something about this, before somebody gets killed or get in to the accidents. hope you consider our genuine complain about accelaration problem complain for hayundai santa fe 2009. | |||

| Had a flat tire on 2009 hyundai santa fe. set brake and jacked the car up to remove flat tire. came back a couple of hours later to find that the jack had twisted and collapsed. luckily, no one was injured. but it was a pain to have to obtain a floor jack as nothing else was going to work. seems to me to be a dangerous type of failure. | |||

| Stopped at red lite give the car gas and the engine revs up and takes off had to put it in nuetral move to shoulder waited a few moments restarted car and everything was fine. very unnerving hope it never happens again. 2009 hyundai santa fe i find out that this is called sudden unintended acceleration and i am not alone with this problem..happen with only 6700 miles on suv will be taking to dealer for 7500 mile checkup and want him to document this for my records on this suv. | |||

| On march 24, 2010, my co-worker and i were in my 2009 hyundai santa fe when it suddenly accelerated. i pushed the brake to the floor and it would not slow down. i then put on the emergency brake. both feet were extended to the floor holding these brakes down. the car did slow down but would not stop. i had to take a left turn across the highway (there was fortunately a break in the traffic), i put the car in park and turned off the engine. it made a very loud noise that lasted about 10 seconds or so. we jumped out of the car as if it were on fire. it's currently at the sheehy dealership in waldorf, md. we are awaiting their diagnosis. | |||
