| Dt*: the contact stated while driving 45 mph a vehicle pulled out of a side street hitting the passenger side causing it to spin and the side curtain airbags did not deploy. the passenger side window shattered and the side mirror detached. the driver was wearing a seat belt and a police report was filed at the scene. the vehicle was towed to an independent repair shop for inspection however; the mechanic was unable to duplicate the problem. | |||

| 2005 hyundai tiberon. per discussion with the investigating officer, the driver was going around a sharp corner too fast. lost control of the vehicle (possibly because the esc unit inputs or steering box malfunction) and started fishtailing. vehicle then slid sideways into another vehicle (side impact). none of the 4 airbags deployed, killing the driver instantly. accident is still being investigated. *tr | |||
