| I have a 2006 hyundai, tiburon gt with the 2.7 litre v-6 and 5 speed manual transmission. i have had a recent problem with the clutch slipping. i have looked on line and read about the problems with this issue. before i bought the car (new in 2006) i read about the clutch issues on line and thought that with the class action lawsuit settled, that the issue was resolved from the earlier model years. when you get some rpms on the vehicle (about 4000), and just before you up-shift the clutch starts slipping. the car has also started grabbing and slipping from a standstill. i guess i have been lucky, i have been driving mine since may of 2006 with very little to complain about. | |||

| Purchased brand new oct 2006 in this order... i know a few things are missing. clutch master cylinder failure - couldn't get the car back in gear. pulls to the right all the time even though it is in perfect alignment according to dealer. terribly uneven tire wear even with 3k mile tire rotations. 2 inside sidewall blow outs. 1 tread separation blowout 2 idler pulley failures. windshield wiper motor failure. windshield washer pump failure. sunroof motor and switch failure. bent rim. air conditioning wire short which resulted in ac clutch failure just after 60,000 (of course) ac clutch failure results in constant bearing squealing. aluminum clutch pedal cover fell off and they wouldn't replace it. rear hatch release works about half the time. i know there's more, i just can't recall all of it right off. *tr | |||

| My daughter has a 2006 tiburon and has been having trouble with the wheel bearings going out of it. it was in the shop to get the front left wheel bearing fixed about 2 months ago. the month after that she started hearing the same noise coming from the back of the car the passenger side . well i was in front of her in my car when the passenger side wheel just broke off of the car and made her crash into a guard rail head on she was hurt and is having back problems from the impact 2 of the airbags deployed. this car is a hazard to have on the road . the sunroof also fell apart and the radio does not work half the time. i wouldn't recommend this car to anyone. *tr | |||

| The kenwood cd player is defective. got another replacement one from dealership and it is also defective. *jb | |||
