Purchased brand new oct 2006 in this order... i know a few things are missing. clutch master cylinder failure - couldn't get the car back in gear. pulls to the right all the time even though it is in perfect alignment according to dealer. terribly uneven tire wear even with 3k mile tire rotations. 2 inside sidewall blow outs. 1 tread separation blowout 2 idler pulley failures. windshield wiper motor failure. windshield washer pump failure. sunroof motor and switch failure. bent rim. air conditioning wire short which resulted in ac clutch failure just after 60,000 (of course) ac clutch failure results in constant bearing squealing. aluminum clutch pedal cover fell off and they wouldn't replace it. rear hatch release works about half the time. i know there's more, i just can't recall all of it right off. *tr

Was driving east on i-70 car started shaking and heard a low roar. thought it was the road. i got off exit 124 i believe and checked tires. all looked normal.. checked tired pressures all was 32 or 34 psi. i though maybe it was the road so i continued to exit 126east on i 70 got off exit because i heard the same noise. i then drove the car around the truckstop and listened to the tires.. rear passenger was making a horrible noise so i decided to turn back around and come back home even though the tires looked fine. i pulled out of the truck stop and over the bridge to go west on i-70 heading about 20mph and heard a loud pop. the tire blew out.. continued over the bridge to the pilot truck stop and noticed there was still air in the tire.. i proceeded to take the tire off and found that the inside of the tire split at the seam. these tires are dangerous!!! the entire side blew out.. but there is still air in them.. firestone should not be allowed to make tires anymore.. if i would have been going 65mph i would probably be dead. firestone 215/45r17 potenza. *tr

Driving west bound on interstate 10 fwy approximate time 2:30a.m. i had a tire blowout. the blowout in turn made me lose control of the vehicle and i went into a spin causing me to crash into a post on the side of the fwy. upon crashing into the post my head hit the steering wheel at which time the airbag did not deploy. i have never had an accident in this car before, my assumption was that the airbag functioned. the airbag feature in my car proved to be totally non-functional. *tr

Dt*: the contact stated a steady vibration in the steering wheel was felt around 62 mph. after the tires were road force balanced and rotated, the tires did not have the same psi reading. the rear tires had an incorrect psi reading. one had a psi of 22 and the other had a psi of 5. one service center dealer determined the recommended psi for road force balanced tires should be 12-15. the dealer determined there was nothing wrong with the tires. the tires were michelin pilot 215/45/r17. mx4. dot number: edn0.
