 Tl*the contact owns a 2002 hyundai xg350. while the contact was attempting to pull out of a parking spot, he was struck on the passenger side by another vehicle traveling 45 mph. the contact's vehicle was destroyed. none of the air bags deployed. the contact did not notice any differences beforehand. the vehicle has not been diagnosed by the dealer. a police report was filed. there were no injuries. the current and failure mileages were 77,652. updated 10/16/08. *lj the consumer had other problems with the vehicle prior to the accident. the check engine light illuminated, the rear view mirror needed to be tightened, the front headlight had condensation. updated 10/17/08. *jb

 Tl*the contact owns a 2002 hyundai xg350. the air bag and service engine lights continue to illuminate. the contact has taken the vehicle to the dealer approximately 15 times, but they have been unable to determine the cause of the failures. the dealer reset the code, but that only corrects the failure for approximately a week. the failure mileage was 40,000 and current mileage was 74,000.

 2002 hyundai xg350 sudden acceleration when starting off from a stop. car starts off slow then suddenly accelerates causing the car to lunge forward. also, car will run smooth then start cutting out and can't get the car to go any faster than 40mph. dealer has replaced several computer modules but did not cure the symptoms.

 Tl*the contact owns a 2002 hyundai xg350. the vehicle caught fire while it was parked in the garage. the vehicle had been parked for 20 minutes. the failure occurred without warning. the cruise control was activated for 40 miles before the vehicle was parked. the fire originated in the engine compartment and was extinguished by the fire department. the vehicle was towed to a repair shop. the contact has pictures, if needed. the current and failure mileages were 60,000.
