Defect SummaryOn certain passenger and sport utility vehicles, the fuel filler hose may crack and result in fuel leakage from the hose while refueling.
Consequence SummaryFuel leakage in the presence of an ignition source could result in a fire.

 Tl-the contact owns a 2003 infiniti fx45. the contact stated the fuel tank sensor sending unit fail. the vehicle was taken to the dealer who stated they have to repair two sending units which was not under recall or warranty. the contact would have to pay for labor and parts. the manufacturer was contacted who stated there was no recall and offered no other assistance. the failure mileage was 52,045...mw
