| Tl-the contact owns a 2003 infiniti fx35. the contact stated he took his vehicle in for a routine maintenance and the mechanic informed him the heat shields that covers the catalytic converter and pipes was rusted and corroded. this can cause the vehicle to start a fire. the manufacturer was notified who filed a complaint and stated there are no recalls and the contact needed to repair the problem himself. they offered no other assistance. the failure mileage was 100,878. mw | |||
