| Dt*: the contact states the nearest infiniti dealer to handle recall number 05v555000 is over 350 miles away in spokane wa . the contact called infiniti, to ask if a nissan dealership could do the recall remedy. the infiniti manufacturer determined the spokane dealership would have to pay the local nissan dealer to perform the recall remedy. the spokane dealer which is 350 plus miles away declined. the contact expressed there is no reason why the nissan dealer which is closer than the infiniti dealer can not handle remedy work since they are the same company. | |||

| Dt*: the contact stated a recall letter, #05v555000 was received concerning the fuel system: gasoline. there is not a local infiniti dealership so a nissan dealer was alerted however they would not perform the necessary repairs. the vehicle has not had the problems associated with the recall. the manufacturer was alerted. updated 5/2/2006 - the consumer feels that she should not have to drive out of state to have the recall repaired. *nm | |||
