| My 2003 infiniti g-35 radio went out will not come on at all. my a/c comes on whenever i turn the car on and i can not turn it off. my passenger side window won't go up and the passenger side seat will not stop moving even after i have let go of the buttons. it folded my passenger like a sandwich. when i took it to the infiniti dealer the salemans said that the audio system installed in my years make and model number was defected and they were aware that the life of this system would only last about five years. *tr | |||

| My infiniti g 35 first began having problems with the cd player. it no longer works, but has now progressed to the radio and ac or heater freezing up. it occurs more frequently as time goes on. the safety issue is that i can not control the defrost or heat when it freezes. it happens when i am driving and yesterday the heater on the car turned itself up to 90 degrees with the blower at full blast. my daughter is a college student and i am concerned that when she drives back home on weekends that she will not be able to control the defroster this winter. we never know when this will happen and would hate for her to be on the interstate in the middle of no where and not be able to use the defroster. we also never know if the air or heat will turn to its low or high with the blower at full speed. several car mechanics have mentioned that this is a well known problem with the 2003 infiniti g 35's. on the internet there are numerous websites with many complaints on this issue as well.*tr | |||

| The ac and radio controls basically none of the dashboard controls are working including defroster which is big safety hazard and as per infiniti dealership its a radio and circuitboard issues. after looking at internet i have found that there was a recall campaign (voluntary service campaign 2003 infiniti g35 sedan; audio finisher circuit board) for this issues -> itb03-007b service campaign -> issue description listed below available on the internet. but infiniti dealer is not accepting any recall on this ground and they are asking for 1300+ bucks to fix this issue. can someone please help as i can live without ac and climate controls but not without defroster. also its a trouble that ac auto turns on at full blown speed which cause too much cold in winter and its a health risk for myself and family including 2 kids. description from internet - on some model year 2003 g35 sedans manufactured through august 21, 2002, the audio and temperature controls may not operate as expected. when using the audio equipment or the temperature controls, the unit may become inoperative. in some cases, this can be corrected by turning the ignition switch off and back on again. in other cases, the unit remains inoperative and requires service by an infiniti technician. to prevent this condition, infiniti has initiated a voluntary service campaign to replace the audio finisher circuit board on these vehicles. use infiniti net to confirm if a specific vehicle is affected by this service campaign (p3104). *tr | |||

| Recently the audio/air conditioning control unit is inoperative. the display on the audio source goes blank. since i can't control my heat/cool setting i feel helpless when i want to adjust for comfort. i have been reading a few complaints about the issue and it seems like the have a volunteer service recall for the circuit board, but it only covers through april 2002. my vehicle was manufactured on december 2002. can you tell me if their has been an adjustment to the service recall that would put me in a better position? *tr | |||

| Noise coming from engine when air-conditioning is on. seemed to get louder. took into dealer, assumed it would be covered under warranty. had 60,000 warranty was at 54,000. also gas tank not showing full when filling up. both repairs totaled 1100.00 aproximately felt at 54,000 miles these should not have happened. i bought the car used and was told i had the remainder of factory warranty which was 4 years/60,000. i was not aware the first sale date was late 2002 apparently. *jb | |||

| 2003 infiniti g35 with a recall on the engine. customer states that the dealer told her that her car was not included in the recall even though the symptoms were the same. dealer refused to fix it unless she paid 11,000 dollars to fix it. *kb the dealer informed the consumer the engine shut down because the piston broke causing it to hit the engine which put a hole in the engine block. the consumer had a used engine put in the vehicle on july 24, 2006 but, one year later the engine failed. the consumer stated she has had numerous problems with the brakes, the driver's seat made a constant noise, the 6 cd changer malfunctioned and ceased to operate and the window motor was replaced. *jb | |||
