| My third brake light went out so i went to the dealer to purchase a replacement led lamp. the price of the lamp was $185.00! the parts department said they are very difficult to replace as you have to remove both the trunk lining and rear seat to replace the led lamp. the labor to replace the lamp is $200.00! i have since noticed that about one half of the infiniti g35 and g37 models i see on the road have their high mount third brake light inoperative. this is with out a doubt due to the extremely high cost and difficulty to replace what should be a simple replacement lamp. *tr | |||

| The rear shelf brake light has stopped working. this is an led light that should last a quite a bit longer if not lifetime. obviously, the car was designed so this part does not have to be replaced. to replace this light, the entire back seat and rear shelf trim and back side trim must be removed. the light itself costs $150.00 and the dealer charges $500.00 to replace it. i have seen numerous 2003 g35s with the non functioning brake light, most likely due to the expensive repair. this is a safety issue and clearly a product defect. | |||
