The oil burns like crazy it caused my car to lock up being the it happens without warning, having to do oil changes once a month which is insanity. this has been a problem not only in the infiniti g35 but also the nissan 350z models. usually a problem with manual 6spd transmission models. this should be a recall being that no one has been able to fix the problem! *tr

Oil consumption problem. i lose at least 1 qt every 1,000 miles. dealer did an oil consumption test and claims it only lost 2 qts in 3,500 miles. they zip tied everything so i could not check it myself. when i check the oil myself it always loses at least 1 qt for every 1,000 miles driven. the dealer lied but still forwarded my claim to infiniti corporate. i never heard from them so i called them myself and they said they would not do anything about it. my car is a manual and i read online that this is a very common problem. why is this not force recalled by the government? engine could seize on a highway and cause a collision. *tr
