| When the passenger seat is occupied by an adult (150 lbs+), the passenger airbag warning light will sometimes illuminate indicating that the passenger airbag has been disabled. infiniti has been involved with repairing the car 4 times for this issue. at this point they are no longer willing to further investigate the issue and say it is working as intended even though the light intermittently illuminates. the infiniti dealer acknowledged that there is a design defect and maintained that infiniti?s position is that the passenger needs to continue to adjust their seating position until the airbag indicator turns off (jump up and down, sit further upright, etc). the light can remain illuminated for as long as 10-15 minutes before finally being able to get the passenger airbag to be operable. this problem is intermittent, but again, infiniti refuses to work on the car even though it is under warranty. i?m concerned that in the event of an accident, the passenger airbag is not working as intended and may not deploy as indicated by the passenger airbag warning light. *tr | |||

| Potential failure of passenger side airbag to deploy in the event of an incident. with adult passenger seated in passenger seat, the passenger side airbag off light illuminates indicating that the airbag will not deploy in the event of an accident. i have video of the problem that i shared with infiniti of chantilly dealer that shows the light on with vehicle traveling at 60-65 miles per hour with adult passenger in seat. the light stayed on for 25-30 miles. took car immediately to dealership next day. no resolution from infiniti. this problem has occurred at least 4-5 times over the past 4 months. | |||
