| The audio and temperature controls become inoperable because of a known issue with the audio finisher circuit board. my temperature was stuck at 90 degrees at maximum output, with no possible way to shut it off. there was a voluntary recall for 2003 g35 sedans with this issue (infiniti recall # p31040), but not for coupes. from online research, there appears to be numerous cases where the same issue has occured on 2003 g35 coupes, but infiniti refuses to accept responsibility for repairs, because the vin #'s were not part of the original recall. i believe this is a safety defect that constitutes a recall for any g35 model with this known issue. | |||

| As i was traveling down the road, my a/c turned on by itself and my radio display went away. i was unable to turn off my a/c or control my radio. none of the buttons on the center console worked. | |||

| First defect: when i would start my car the lights would go out in the radio, heating and cooling buttons. the fan would come onto high and switch to airconditioning. i could not turn it down or turn it off or turn on my defroster when it was 30 degrees in the morning which made my visabilty very poor. the only way to get this to stop was to pull the fuses. we check the recall history and found that it was only a courtesy recall and wouldn't be covered even after reading that hundreds of g35 owners were all having the same problem. we had to have the radio electrinics removed from the car and sent out to be fixed. i think this issue would be consistered a safety issue when you don't have heat or a defroster. second defect: the problem started while the car was idoling and it would stall. then 3 days later while driving at 50mph the car tryed to stall and it lost all power and then the dash lights came on indicating service needed. the car seem to lack power. did a recall check and found that all the conditions pointed to the cam shaft position censor failing. we checked the vin# and of course my car isn't one that is on their recall list for the same problem they have on other g35 models. this could be a serious safety issue causing an accident when you stall and have no control of your vehicle going down the highway. every issue i have had with my car has been on the companies recall list but not my vin # for some reason. this issue to need to reviewed and corrected. third defect: we have had to have the motor replaced twice in the drivers door that operates the electric window. now the right door window is not working. if it does open it will get stuck and we have trouble gettting it to come up. we have to keep it locked to avoid it being opened. | |||

| I've recently been having issue with the engine where the car stalls. the car start fine when i do a cold start but when the car warms up the car stalls at times. i've been hearing a lot of the stories from other people on different forums where this is a common issue for this model. the culprit are either the trottle body which i had already replace three years back, the 2 cam position sensors and crank position sensor. i recently found out that there is a recall on the cam position sensors and crank position sensor. i'm hoping that that my vin# is part of that recall. the second issue i have been having with this car is the radio and temperature control. that i recently had changed with the factory radio attached to the temperature control. the radio would stop working. i have no control over the temperature control and the ac unit would turn on by it self. i recently just installed an after market radio. with everything after buying what was required to do a double din conversion and installation. it cost me a good amount of money. another issue this car has is the seat belt issue. it doesn't retract properly and the passenger side it's a chore just trying to put on the seat belt. | |||

| The a/c became stuck on automatic - blowing air, center console buttons stopped working including all heating/air conditioning/defrost buttons, as well as controls for the radio and cd player; the radio controls only worked thru steering controls. this was an intermittent problem for about a year, then the controls froze permanently, with no access to center console buttons to control heating, cooling, defrost, etc, with no access through the steering controls to radio. eventually, the radio stopped working as well. still no access to center console heating, cooling, and defrost controls. no way to defrost or defog windshields! | |||

| Im currently having trouble with my center console losing power to my ac and radio. the problems range from center console display shortages, ac blasting at full strength and being unable to change the setting, to the radio intermittently putting out sound. this problem has led to safety issues with the car in that the inability to control the ac results in fogged over windshields leading to poor visibility. i've read online that this problem affects many owners of the same car. it was such a problem that infiniti recalled the '03 g35 sedan for the exact same problems. it is embarrassing that inifiniti does not stand by their product across the board. if they acknowledged that it was a problem in the sedan why are they not responsible for fixing the same problem in the two door model. would like to know how this problem may be remedied | |||

| Windows fail to operate (open or close) - defective electric motor confirmed. radio cannot be turned on. ac cannot be turned off - it stays on constantly at max ac setting and maximum fan speed. cd player will not turn on. this has been reported by numerous owners of infiniti g35's. the radio, ac and cd problems are linked together, as it appears to be due to a widespread failure of an audio finisher circuit board component. the manufacture has issued a voluntary service campaign for a very limited number of vehicles manufactured through august 21, 2002. it does not cover numerous vehicles that present with the exact same fault manufactured after than date. | |||

| Shortly after purchasing my infiniti, i noticed that the fuel gauge was not registering the level correctly. when the gauge reaches approximately one-quarter tank full, the gauge drops to well below the e mark and the warning light comes on. even after purchasing approximately twenty dollars worth of gas the gauge still registers below the e mark and the light stays on. last week on september 1, 2011, i went to purchase gas because the light was on. i know my tank holds twenty gallons when empty, so i thought it would take approximately seventy dollars to fill up, but to my suprise the pump stopped at fifty-three dollars, which was about thirteen gallons. the gauge on the dash did not even register to the f mark, it stopped on three-quarters full, even though i tried a couple of times to fill the tank even more. i replaced the fuel tank level sender in august of 2011 with a new part, but this has not helped. this is a safety issue, as i do not know the correct fuel level in the vehicle, which could lead to my stalling out on a roadway and am not able to pull to the side of the road. i am aware of other infiniti models going through recalls because of fuel gauge problems which sound identical to what i am experiencing, so maybe this should be investigated further. i also have researched this problem on the internet and quite a few blogs detail the exact experience i am having. | |||

| My radio and dash goes out and my a/c comes on full blast with preset temperature and i can't do anything to turn it down or turn it off. infiniti dealer said the radio control unit controls climate including a/c. dealer said a radio circuit board was malfunction or defect. infiniti said there was no recall. i'm really scary to drive in winter when i need defrost on and need to control climate. i heard so many infiniti g35 owner has same problems. | |||

| Air conditioning blasts at all times that car engine is running. no way to control, lower or change the a/c defroster, heat or defogger. radio panels are similarly blacked out meaning they are not within the control of the operator. multiple safety complaints have been issued regarding this problem and the delership has advised similar owners it will be $4,000 to rectify this problem. this is largely a safety concern. i have notified my insurance company of this issue as when toyota's were recalled and people were injured it was the insurance company, (state farm) that realized the severity of the situation first. | |||

| The radio on my 2003 infiniti g35 coupe started going out shortly after i bought it (used). some day it would go out several times while driving. other days it would not go out at all. now the led display for the radio and the ability to control a/c, heat, defog, rear defrost, and stereo on the center dash is intermittently going out. i still maintain the functionality in the steering wheel for the stereo control, however, i simply can't see what station or track i am on. this issue is extremely dangerous, especially during the winter when defrost/defog are crucial. nissan has issued a recall, but only for the sedans, not for the coupes. i don't understand how they can do this!!! as a company i would not want the death of someone on my conscience due to my lack of integrity to stand behind my product. i am begging for your assistance on this because i cannot afford to fix this problem as the dealer is charging $500.00 for a temporary fix. they are offerring no support. | |||

| Infiniti issued a tsb about an audio finisher circuit potentially failing. meanwhile they did no recall or notified customers. the circuit controls all the hvac and radio control. meaning, when it malfunctions, you have no ability to use the defroster to defog the window. no control can be had of the system. it turns on the ac automatically and disables all controls. | |||

| There is a defect in the 2003 infiniti g35 coupe models. the radio and climate control looses control and all indicator lights. the dash has no function as if there is no power, but does continue to function. the auto/ac indicator appears on the console letting you know that the car has taken the controls away from you. the a/c closes the vents to only circulate cold air on it's last setting. with all functions turned off, the dash turns itself on to the same setting without any manual operations. the radio volume nor channels cannot be changed (other than from the steering-wheel) and the air conditioning is stuck on the last setting and cannot be changed without turning the car off. is this caused by a defective control board? the local dealership claims they've never heard of this happening. also the car tends to lock on its own. standing outside to get gas and you hear the doors lock, sometimes before you can walk around the car to the gas pump. | |||

| The auto a/c pops on all by itself, disabling the entire dashboard controls. the radio lights and buttons no longer work, the fan or temperature cannot be adjusted, and the defrosters cannot be used. the dealership concluded that the entire radio needs to be replaced, a problem that is so common on these cars that the rebuilt radio part to fix it is often backordered. once again it appears that good 'ol infiniti/nissan has issued an inferior tsb for the problem that does not include the scope of vins affected by this problem. so if you don't die from your defective crank shaft sensor stalling you out at 65mph, be sure to watch out from crashing from the fog on your windshield because your defroster won't work. | |||
