| Defect Summary | Nissan is recalling certain model year 2011 and 2012 infiniti g37 coupe vehicles and certain model year 2011 nissan 370z vehicles manufactured from july 2, 2011, through august 29, 2011. due to a programming error, the power window switch controller in the subject vehicles was manufactured out of specification. | |||||||||||||||

| Tl- the contact owns a 2011 infiniti g37sx coupe. while driving approximately 20 mph, the contact approached a stop signal, engaged the brake pedal and the vehicle surged forward with an increase in the rpms. the identical failure occurred five times. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer on six occasions regarding the unintended acceleration. the technician was unable to duplicate the failure or detect a trouble code during the diagnostic test; however, the electronic module was reprogrammed. the failure continued to occur. the manufacturer was notified of the failure. the approximate failure mileage was 1,000. rvk | |||
