| Our 2013 infiniti jx awd has exhibited repeated loss of power steering while operating the vehicle. the first loss of power steering occurred on about august 26, 2012. the vehicle was returned to the dealer for service, but the problem apparently could not be replicated. on or about september 3, 2012, the vehicle again exhibited a loss of power steering while operating the vehicle. the vehicle was returned to the dealer for service on about september 4, 2012, and was examined by an infiniti field service technician. following this service, we were informed that the problem had been fixed. on about february 13, 2013, the vehicle again exhibited a loss of power steering and was returned to the dealer for service. | |||

| After starting the engine and after the steering wheel assumes its drive position, the steering wheel will have a moment of free play where you can feel the steering wheel jump and finally catch. i have mentioned this several times to the infiniti dealer service dept and their response is that all jx35's do this. i have never had any car or infiniti (i30 or m35) exhibit this lack of steering control. i have not experienced this while driving, only on initial start-up. *tr | |||
