| Tl*the contact owns a 1992 infiniti m30. the contact purchased the vehicle six months ago and is beginning to experience the same failures as mentioned in nhtsa campaign id number 95i006000 (fuel system, gasoline:fuel injection system). the manufacturer looked up his vin and stated that his vehicle no longer qualified for the recall unless they decided to withdraw the recall because it is voluntary. the contact then faxed the information to the infiniti dealer and they stated that the recall repair had never been performed and the campaign was still open. they further stated that he could have the recall repair performed because his vin was included among the defective vehicles. the regional manager from the chicago, il office stated that there were no open recalls based on his vehicle. the dealer stated that the recall was still open until further notice by the manufacturer. the failure mileage was 113,000 and current mileage was 116,000. | |||
