| As i was driving, the left side support under my driver seat broke. i began to fall backwards but was able to catch myself because i was traveling at such a slow speed. two days later, i took my car into my dealership expecting that they would repair this giant safety issue with no charge to me. they told me i needed a whole new seat and the cost would be $1400. i responded by saying it should be free to fix, but i would pay up to $500 if they were to fix it and offer me a lifetime warranty on both the driver and passenger seat. they refused and we are now at a stalemate. *tr | |||

| Hi, i bought not to long ago this vehicle and everything was fine. however recently the bottom of the seat broke, there is a little arm that attaches to the bar at the back that is not attached. i was driving and the seat suddenly dropped and i could have had a serious accident. there are quite a number of reports like this online of other people with this issue and i want to know if there is some sort of recall. infiniti is a reputable car but this workmanship is terrible. thanks for your time.i only weight 170lbs so i am sure that is not the issue. | |||

| The drivers seat base broke loose from the metal lever that adjusts the height off the floor and the seat tilted sharply left. the seat cannot be adjusted level and the car cannot be driven with the broken seat position. this occurred twice already in this vehicle. infiniti refuses to provide any remedy other than replacing the seat at huge expense to me. an examination of the seat shows no abuse or special circumstances. the connection is made with a weak weld that cannot withstand normal use. action should be taken to require infiniti to remedy this issue at their expense. | |||

| I was driving my 2006 infiniti m35 on the hiway at about 55-60 miles an hour when all of a sudden the drivers seat fell back off of its frame almost cuasing me to lose control of the car which could have been a serious accident. i took the car to the dealer and they explained to me that the seats are welded to the frame not bolted and the weld broke lose. they said because my car was out of warranty that the factory would not cover the cost and therefore it would cost me 1100.00 dollars to repare it. i contacted there consumer affairs division to ask them for assistance and they refuse to offer any help, showing no concern for the fact that i could have been kill due to a design failure on that seat. | |||

| The issue is wihin my 2006 infiniti m35x driver's side seat. i was in the process of making a right turn after sitting at a traffic light. when i did, the driver's side seat went left and back and i was thrown against the driver's door. there has been movement in my driver's seat when braking. it would move a couple of inches forward instead of staying in place. the dealership has estimated that it is going to cost $900 to replace the slide lift assembly. | |||
