| I was trying to accelerate from off an on ramp onto a highway and the car completely hesitated. the transmission took a good two seconds to accelerate and get into a safe position to pass, when i was struck from behind by a car in the slow lane. i have made a complaint before about this same issue and something needs to be done. i have already sent my car to the dealership and they reset the tcm, but it did nothing. please get back to me at [xxx] or [xxx]. information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6). thanks *tr | |||

| The transmission in the m37's have a major flaw. it is a 7 speed and has a difficult time figuring what gear to go into. when you are accelerating onto an off ramp there is a major delay and the transmission can't figure out what gear to go into. you could be killed trying to get on an interstate because the car won't go. when you slow down the transmission will gear down sporadically. when you are climbing a hill at 30 miles an hour, the transmission will be in 6th or 7th gear. a software update was done to this transmission in september 2012 and helped a little but is still unsafe. by researching online about this transmission issue, there are a lot of complaint from consumers that own a 2011 2012 m37. thank you. *tr | |||
