| Defect Summary | Nissan is recalling 180,664 my 2005-2006 titan, armada and infinity qx56 vehicles manufactured after march 17, 2005, that are equipped with a visteon air conditioning condenser fan motor. the fan motor may not be properly sealed allowing excessive water intrusion and inadequate drainage of moisture. | |||||||||||||||

| The a/c switch that controls the rear fan speed on the front dash does not work. the internal plastic has broke and the nob just turns. the only way now to use the rear a/c is to stretch way back in the rear and turn it on. i went to test drive a newer qx56 and that nob was also broken. i test drove another one and the rear air was continuously running. i took my 2005 qx56 to an infiniti dealer and they said the entire panel has to be replaced at $565.00 even though only one nob is broken. please help. | |||

| Tl*the contact owns a 2005 infiniti qx56. the contact took the vehicle in for inspection and was informed that there was a leak in the steering and brake fluid hoses at 61,000 miles. at 75,000 miles, the air conditioner made a loud noise. when the air conditioner is kept activated, it does not cool properly as it did in the past. the hose failure has been repaired. the vehicle has not been inspected by a mechanic. the current mileage was 75,000 and failure mileage was 61,000. | |||
