Defect SummaryVehicle description: passenger vehicles equipped with a sunroof sunshade. the primer applied to prepare the surface prior to bonding the sunshade holders to the sunroof weakened the bonding strength of the adhesive, resulting in an unsatisfactory bond of the holder to the sunroof.
Consequence SummaryThis condition can result in separation of the holder, causing the sunshade to fall, possibly striking a vehicle occupant.
Corrective SummaryDealers will remove all four sunshade holders and re-bond them to the sunroof glass.
NotesOwner notification began december 9, 1998. owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact isuzu at 1-800-382-2238.also contact the national highway traffic safety administration's auto safety hotline at 1-888-dash-2-dot (1-888-327-4236).

 When driving on wet pavement and upon making a normal stop, consumer experienced complete brake failure, resulting in extended stopping distance. cause unknown. also, gas tank has separated from bottom of vehicle, causing a fuel leakage, sun roof cover doesn't stay intact, and seat belt and gas pedal stick. consumer has contacted dealer. *ak *ml
