The center rear seat belt, which is where my toddler son's carseat is, broke into pieces during a routine move of the carseat. the seat belt latch was not subject to any undue force or pressure at the time of it's breaking.*ak when i contacted the dealership i was told that the seatbelts are only warrantied for 3 years or 50,000 miles. my car is a 1999 but has 85,000 miles. i am very distressed to know that the not only are the seatbelts not covered under warrantly but that noone seems to find anything wrong with it.

The fuel gauge on our 1999 isuzu rodeo began flashing one day and then just quit working. the dealer told us that isuzu was aware of this problem with the 99 model but would not issue a recall because it was expensive to repair. this has since caused the check engine light to come on. we have to use the trip odometer to try and estimate how much fuel we have in the tank. you would think it would be less expensive to lose customers over something they know is defective. *jb
