 Transmission problems render this vehicle completely unsafe. *bf transmission seal leaking and needed to be replaced. the four wheel drive light continually flashes and does not stay on. the vehicle also has a shimmy at 50 mph. the engine key became stuck in the lock cylinder.

 When driving at any speed and when applying brake pedal to make a gradual stop, and when approaching an intersection or a traffic light, brake pedal traveled to floorboard, causing extended stopping distance/ brake fade away. consumer noticed shortly thereafter that brakes kicked back in. consumer has contacted dealer, dealer was unable to determine cause of problem. *ak the vehicle pulls to the right. the a/c malfunctioned. the vehicle vibrates at speed of 35 mph. the cd player failed. *yh

 Tl*the contact owns a 2000 isuzu rodeo. the contact stated that a malfunction in the security system in his vehicle seemed to cause it to repeatedly shut off. while driving various speeds, the vehicle would completely shut off, which would occasionally cause the power steering and power brakes to fail. he was able to stop the vehicle by applying more pressure to the brake pedal. the most recent failure occurred while driving approximately 55 mph. he called the closest dealer that was 250 miles away and was informed that they would have to inspect the vehicle. the manufacturer has not been notified. the current mileage was 92,186 and failure mileage was approximately 90,000.
