| Tl* the contact owns a 2000 isuzu rodeo. the contact stated that the vehicle was taken to the dealer for repairs under nhtsa campaign id number: 10v436000 (suspension:rear) where the dealer replaced the lower brackets. after the repairs, the check engine warning light was illuminated. the vehicle was taken to a local repair shop where it was diagnosed that the filler tank was destroyed and the frame was completely corroded. the manufacturer was not contacted and the vehicle was not repaired. the failure and current mileage was 106, 000. | |||

| Tl-the contact owns a 2000 isuzu rodeo. the contact stated in 2008 while driving 65mph the vehicle stalled. the local mechanic replaced the fuel pump. the repair did not correct the failure. the vehicle engine will not start. the vehicle was towed back to the local mechanic whom performed a diagnosed failures were located at the fuel pump, and the rear subframe had holes due to corrosion. the manufacturer was contacted they advised to have the vehicle towed to the dealership to be diagnosed. the vehicle has not been repaired. the failure mileage was 120,000 and the current mileage was 150,000. li | |||

| Tl-the contact owns a 2000 isuzu rodeo. while having the vehicle repaired at an authorized dealer for unrelated failures the contact was told the frame under the vehicle was severely corroded. the vehicle was not repaired. the contact stated the vehicle was repaired at an authorized dealer 4 times in the past for a corroded intake system and the fuel tank filler neck was also corroded. due to the corrosion of the fuel tank filler neck she was unable to refuel the vehicle without gasoline spilling. the failure mileage was unknown and the current mileage was 93,000. sm. | |||

| Tl-the contact owns a 2000 isuzu rodeo. the contact stated that while driving approximately 40 mph the drivers rear side suspension fractured and seperated from the frame. the contact was still able to drive the vehicle. the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed the problem as needing to replace the control socket on the drivers side axle. the vehicle was repaired. the contact also stated that when filling up his tank the fuel started to pour back out of the tank. the vehicle was towed to the dealer who inspected the vehicle and informed the contact that there were holes in the gas line. the vehicle was repaired. the failure mileage was 124,000. tb | |||

| The gas gauge is faulty. i have heard of many complaints and that when there are hard shifts (turns) or press harder on the acceleration causes the gas gauge to work incorrectly and the gas light comes on. this is happening to my car currently. furthermore, after the light comes on the check engine light comes on. *nm | |||

| I bought this car used with 50128 miles in april 3, 2004. on, july 12, 2004 around 55000 miles. i stopped and let the car running for 3 mins. i came back and the fuel sensor low light was flashing and the car said i was empty, but i knew i wasn't because i just filled the tank up that day. i started going and the fuel sensor said i had all my gas back. after that, everyday, the sensor will say low fuel after the sensor has passed 3/4 of a tank. on, july 15, when the fuel light comes on for sometime the check engine light will come on and stay on until i fill the gas tank up and drive for several miles. i am going to take it to my mechanic and maybe the dealership where i bought the car to solve this problem. *la | |||

| Lost control of vehicle which resulted in a front end collision. my speed was about 45 mph at time of impact. vehicle ignited instantly. the flames were coming from under the hood, closest to the windshield on the passenger side. was prompted by a relative to file a complaint. i was told that the vehicle should not have burned and should have had a cut-off for fuel line. the vehicle was totally consumed and exploded within what seemed like 5-15 min. | Vehicle sporadicly stalls when slowing to stop or when already stopped. the vehicle bucks when accelerating from stopped position. all dash lights come on when the vehicle stalls. after a few minutes of rest, vehicle will start and dash lights turn off. nothing will register in the computer system. throttle body has been cleaned, fuel filter has been changed. mechanic cannot duplicate problem. all signs point to bad intake manifold gasket but mechanic refuses to replace even at owners request. this problem has happened 7 times in the 3 months i have owned it.*ak | |||

| The check engine light and fuel light blinks almost continuously as a result of incorrect information being sent by the fuel sensor/sending unit. the lights will come on even when the tank is full! also, with less than 60,000 miles on an engine warranted to 125,000, i am burning oil at the rate of 1 quart every 2,000 miles. i have not taken it to a dealer since the reports i have read say that the delaerships simply say that is normal. i have owned cars as long as 150,000 miles, and i certainly don't think this oil consumption is normal!!*ak | |||
