Anti-lock brakes failed to operate during 'sudden stop' causing crash. air conditioning system does not cool car off, even at lowest temp. set and highest fan setting; car was brought into dealer 3 times for this as of this date; car does not take fuel - auto shut-off prevents it from accepting fuel; during recent crash caused by total brake failure, air bag light came on but no air bag deployed - why didn't the air bag deploy?; low fuel light does not come on; remote will not lock car, only unlock

My 2005 jaguar 3.0 s was proceeding eastward on a city street within the 30 mph speed limit when it became necessary to make a sudden stop to avoid a car stopped in traffic lane. brakes failed to operate. brake pedal went to the floor with no slowing of vehicle at all causing my car to hit the other vehicle.

When applying the brake pedal to come to a stop vehicle intermittently commenced to accelerate. this incident occurred on five separate occasions. on two occasions it caused the vehicle to hit a pole and the back bumper of another vehicle. dealer could not duplicate the problem. *ak
