 Recall repair not performed on the defective fuse panel due to lack of parts and convenient dealership location.

 The consumer had left their fifth wheel at the campsite, with only the water heater, refrigerator, and the heating system on. when they returned, they found the refrigerator and central heat/air were not working. after checking all circuits and finding them to be receiving power, the dealer representative told the consumer to pull out the fuse panel cover. the consumer discovered the plastic yellow wire had melted. the consumer replaced it and inspected the wire nuts to insure proper installation. the consumer found some to be loose and reinstalled/re-taped them. the (running) light cover had flown off, the kitchen sink leaked, and the thermostat may be inoperative. the consumer requested reimbursement for the food that was in the refrigerator, and information on the safety defects of the vehicle.  Problems with bunk bed in 2003 jayco kiwi 23d hybrid/rv camper. *mr during high speeds of 30 mph plus, the bed raises just enough that the poles come out of the notch under the bed. also the bunk bed that is 6 feet off the floor has no rail. the consumer complained to the manufacturer but they didn't respond.  Dt*: the contact stated there was six to eight sidewall cracks found on the passenger side front tire. the cracks appeared to be 1/2 to 3/4 inch deep. this was found while the contact was inspecting the tires to go on a trip. the tire was at the proper inflation. the tire was on a pop up trailer. the trailer manufacturer is jayco, model 1407. the tire is manufactured by duro, model 82m. the tire size is 5.30 wide by 12 inches. the tire is a high speed tubeless trailer tire.
